You don't have to be an expert to ski Taos,

Taos isn't just a great place to ski it's a terrific place to learn how to ski better. That's why we created our popular Ski Weeks. We have weeks for skiers of all abilities, telemarkers and teens. After six days under the tutelage of our top instructors and practicing your new moves on our varied terrain, you'll head home a much better skier. But our Ski Weeks are about more than turns, edges, and form. You'll establish camaraderie with your fellow ski buffs and your instructor that make for a skiing experience you'll long remember. Every morning you'll join your group and your instructor for two hours of training on the slopes. The rest of the day, you can practice what you've learned. Each night you can share a great meal with your new friends, swap stories, and make plans to meet again.
From Sunday through Friday, top instructors work with you for two hours each morning. Evening tech talks and discussions of biomechanics and ski psychology immerse you in a total ski experience.
But beware. Devotees—many of whom have been making the pilgrimage for over 25 years—report an addiction to the six-day tune-up that can turn a week's worth of fun into an annual necessity.
